Like a dance of the soul, it carries energy and love.
For a while, I stopped moving and I felt dead inside.
My soul and body were losing their light and purpose, I felt void of love for myself.
Then I understood that I needed to stay in movement, to be able to bend without breaking under the weight of society, the weight of expectations - sometimes my own.
I learned so much about myself by dancing around the world, with strangers who felt like family. So many bodies as one, all under the same sky.
I've cured so many of my illnesses by letting go and opening my eyes to the world. Running, walking, sweating and digging into my emotions, searching for a sparkle, and finding it. Always.
What I know now is that Movement is Therapy and I'm my own sun.
